3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION


Most important physicochemical hazards: Burning of acrylonitrile residue and rubber can produce toxic gases.
Adverse effects on human health by inhalation or skin contact.
Detrimental health effect: Long term exposure to the product could result in chronic poisoning since traces of acrylonitrile residue may enter human body via skin.
Explosion danger: Not applicable

4. FIRST AID MEASURES


Skin contact:
Dermatitis and skin allergy may result from prolonged or repeated exposure.
Reversible effects on the central nervous system can be produced.
Remove contaminated clothes. Wash skin with water and soap.
Eye contact: Not applicable
Inhalation: In case the victims suffer suffocation from combustion products they should be moved from polluted area and keep them in a well-ventilated environment. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In case of respiratory standstill or cardiac arrest, the artificial respiration or heart massaging should be performed .Obtain medical attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting since products will not normally be absorbed in alimentary tracts.
